Music Ministries
We
enjoy a vibrant and active music ministry.
From the young children to adults, there are
many opportunities to serve the Lord with
musical talent. Various musical groups
present special music regularly in our
Sunday services. An orchestra plays along
with the congregational singing in the
Evening Service and various individuals
minister with instrumental specials.
It is our goal to praise the Lord with
“Psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs.”
ADULT
CHOIR
The adult choir ministers on a weekly
basis. Practices are scheduled for Sunday
afternoons. A musical or cantata is
presented for Christmas and Easter. The
Annual Christmas Eve Candlelight Service is
a wonderful forum to present the Incarnate
Love of God in music.
TEEN
& ADULT CHOIR:
Our
church choir, with 35-40 members, sings
every Sunday morning as part of our Worship
Service. We practice on Sunday afternoons,
before the Evening Service. The choir
performs musicals, along with the Drama
Ministry, for Easter and Christmas.
CHILDREN’S CHOIR:
The
first 10 minutes of Children’s Church is
devoted to musical training of our K-6th
graders, along with teaching them songs to
be used in worship The 15-20 members sing
as special music in some of the church
services. The children often participate in
the Christmas musicals.
